Parkour is the physical discipline of training to overcome obstacles within one’s path by adapting one’s movements to the environment. It has tremendous physical benefits as it addresses core motor function, & incredible mental benefits as the practitioner learns to solve & see challenges as opportunities. Parkour discourages reckless behavior, showing off, & dangerous stunts. Parkour movements typically include running, jumping, vaulting, climbing, balancing, & quadrupedal movement.
